No Peace!

A cat can't get no peace, even inside one's Kitty Condo.

Well, I was almost inside!

I'm a big fat ginger nearly inside my kitty condo cat.

Snoopervising the Great Rhubarb Harvest

Today, Dad harvested all the rhubarb we had growing at the side of the house.  He's done this because the man from round the corner with the dogs told him that after the end of this month, it turns poisonous, which doesn't sound very good at all.  Anyway, the plan was we'd cut it all down, trim it, and then freeze it so he can eat it later.  Cat's don't really like rhubarb, but I helped anyway.

This is Champagne Rhubarb, which doesn't grow as big and thick as some of the other varieties, apparently.  I'm keeping a close watch to make sure he does it right.

Mum got me to pose - I'm getting good at that.  Don't worry Mum, I'll make sure it's done properly.

We had to stop for a bit cos we found a snail.

But Dad took that off me cos it was a bit slimey!!

After that, I kept a close eye to make sure there wasn't anything else lurking.  Of course, there was, a little green caterpillar.

It was quite cute, and curled up when I poked it.  Shame there's no video, as it was a bit wriggly!

It wasn't keen to do very much after I tried to play with it.  Look Dad!!

Off the Bed!

There I was, fast asleep, minding my own business, when I was unceremoniously turfed off the bed this morning, so that Mum could change the duvet!  A cat can't get no peace!

I held on for a bit, but to no avail.

I even tried the outstretched paw thing, but that didn't work either.  Then the noisy sucky monster came out, so I retreated to underneath the sofa.

I'm just waiting until she's finished, then I'll be straight back up there.

On the Bed

Seeing as it's Thursday, and it's raining, I thought I'd spend some time upstairs on the bed.

I'm just sitting here wondering what to do.

Wait, someone's coming.  Act natural.

I'm not doing anything, honest.

Exhausted!

I am exhausted from yesterday's dog baiting exertions!

Time for a nap on my favourite mat.

Dad says I have no shame.  Not sure at all what he means.

Dog Baiting

Now, I know I'm not supposed to do Dog Baiting, but sometimes I just can't help myself.  What is dog baiting?  Well, it's positioning yourself in a place where the dog can see you, but where you know he can't get at you.  Mum gets cross when I do this, but like I said, I just can't stop myself.

Anyway, here I am, getting into position.

I'm also at the front of the house, which Dad gets upset about, as he likes me to stay at the back away from the cars.  Little does he know that when he lets me out the back, I just go over the fence and go round the front anyway!

Here is my quarry approaching.

Two collies, and on leads.  Perfect for dog baiting!  You need to keep your wits about you though!

They tried, but they didn't catch me!

Today, I've been an all action cat.  One minute I'm sitting on the bed,

You can just tell something's going to happen, can't you.

And look out,  I'm away!

On the Stairs

As much as I like sitting under the stairs, sometimes I like to sit on them.  It's funny though, these stairs don't seem big enough for a big ginger mancat.

Then, of course, you have to contend with the pawparazi!  There is just no peace!
